differently various in different spaces

We are excited to announce differently various in different spaces, an art trail bringing artwork and events from the differently various exhibition to local community centres across our 13-borough catchment area.

Last summer, more than 5,500 people visited differently various, our 10-day takeover of The Curve gallery at the Barbican and the largest exhibition co-produced by people living with brain injury.

This year, we are touring the artwork from the show to local community venues, alongside workshops, events and screenings between March and July 2024.

Supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Arts Council England, differently various in different spaces will include four exhibitions and a series of public events including collaborative art workshops and member led training sessions that reach all 13 boroughs in our catchment area.

You are invited to follow the exhibition trail, so you can see more differently various artwork, while meeting local members and learning about their story and their experience of life after brain injury.

differently various in different spaces is part of Headway East London 25th Anniversary Heritage Project, which includes setting up an archive to document our 25 years of history and making a film about our work to support people living with brain injury.

As we finalise our rich programme of events, keep an eye for more announcements on our website and social media and get ready to be inspired by our creative community!
