At Headway, John can reliably be found, pen in hand, conjuring up new pieces of work in the art studio or singing Beatles and Stones’ hits in the music room. He is particularly known for his joyous portraits of animals recognisable by their  unique blend of bold line and ambiguity of form – is that an eye or an ear? A mouth or a nose? A mouth AND a nose?
